What is an alternative software like CyberLink PowerDirector video editor that is for free with no cracking involved and thereu2019s a PC trial version for a month?

PowerDirector alternative free

If you want a very good free Video Editor then I can recommend HitFilm Express, totally free - forever and no u201cWatermark until you payu201d rubbish.

,Download HitFilm Express | for Mac & PC - fxhome.

comThe other thing which is very good about HitFilm is that you can expand its already very good capabilities all the way up to Pro.

You donu2019t need to learn a new editor just because you are becoming more professional.

It is excellent for special effects and Express does all the way up to 4K.

In defence of Kdenlive, here are a few points you may want to consider.

,It has already been stated, but Kdenlive is free.

Premier will cost you a monthly subscription, and if youu2019re not earning money from editing, that can add up.

,I use Kdenlive on Linux.

It is robust (seldom crashes) and can chew up just about any codec I throw at it.

I have recently tried both free versions of Lightworks and Davinci Resolve, and had to convert everything to DNxHD before they would even ingest it.

[On a Macbook Pro I borrowed this was less of a problem u2014 I could ingest mp4 files that wouldnu2019t work in Linux.

],My machine is no slouch u2014 16GB RAM and Geforce 470M Nvidia card (3GB), but Davinci keeps on falling over, possibly because of the HD resolution footage.

Kdenlive has a built-in proxy system, so you can work in a reduced resolution mode, then output in full HD (or 4K, if thatu2019s your thing).

You need a beast of a machine with 16GB and a top Nvidia card to run Resolve or Lightworks effectively.

,Kdenlive effects take a while to get used to, but they can do anything you want, just about.

I used Final Cut Pro for many years professionally, and would say that I could do the same work on Kdenlive, only probably about 20% slower, due to the lack of shortcut keys.

,CORRECTION: Slip/slide/roll editing is NOT YET available in Kdenlive, but will be soon: Video editing applications handbook.

,Give it a try, and see how it works for you.

It uses the common Source/Record/Timeline approach that other NLEs use, so learning it will give you an intro to how video editing on a computer works.

PowerDirector alternative Android

Currently PowerDirector is only available on Android, but if youre using an iOS device youre sadly missing out.

Luckily there are several alternative apps that allow you to edit your footage from a mobile device.
