Which Six Flags park is the best one?

Six Flags Great Adventure Map

Ive been to every single theme park in the nation.

That being said I have not been to the canadian or mexican parks.

Out of the entire US of A.

There are 3 parks that are leagues above the others.

n1.

Six flags magic mountain ca.

2.

Cedar point oh.

3.

Six flags Great adventure NJ.

nThese 3 parks have the most thrill rides, the most roller coasters, the most g forces, and all around are just the most varied extreme thrill seeking parks there are.

Out of those three, it is a hot topic which one is the best.

And it really comes down to personal preference.

nAlthough this answer is written assuming by best you mean the most thrilling.

If you want a family experience, go to Six flags great escape or another small park (coughs, newengland, coughs).

nQuite frankly, just look up the park maps on the internet and figure out which one is best based on that and what your looking for!

Six Flags Great Adventure Hours

Iu2019m not sure how much things have changed since Jacob Blumenu2019s answer in 2012, but I do know for a fact that SFGAd is one of the LARGEST parks in the chain, spanning over 60 acres and featuring 50 rides, including 13 roller coasters.

,New Jerseyu2019s major theme park draws an average of 2.

8million guests per year, and crowds can get heavy during peak season between Memorial Day and Labor Day (June-August).

,To be perfectly honest, in order to experience everything at Great Adventure, you need a full 12 hour day.

Unless youu2019re visiting on a Tuesday in early September, crowds will prevent you from getting on all the major rides in enough time.

I imagine the waits for Kingda Ka and Zumanjaro alone will be upwards of 60 minutes.

El Toro, Chang (sorry, u201cGreen Laternu201d) Nitro, and Bizarro could generate thick lines as well.

I know this is the case at Chicagou2019s Six Flags Great America.

,Basically, if youu2019re visiting during the summer on a nice sunny day, plan to spend from sun-up until sundown at Six Flags Great Adventure.

Thatu2019s my theme park recommendation, anyway.

Six Flags Great Adventure rides ranked

The general consensus amongst theme park/roller coaster nerds is that the best rides are divided into sort of sub-categories, with which Ill try and give a few of the most widely-loved in each.

,Thrilling Theme Park AttractionsnSpiderman at Islands of Adventure,Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at Islands of Adventure,Splash Mountain Disneyland and Walt Disney World (WDWs is better, though),Test Track at Walt Disney World,Big Thunder Mountain at DL and WDW,Expedition Everest at WDW,Tower of Terror at DL and WDW (WDWs is better),nDark Rides and the tamer themed attractionsn,Haunted Mansion at DL and WDW,Pirates of the Caribbean at DL and WDW (DLs is much better),Peter Pan at DL and WDW,Soarin over California at DL and WDW,nRoller Coasters (this is a very abbreviated list, preferences are strong and varied, but these are some of what are generally considered the best)nWooden:n,The Voyage and Raven, both at Holiday World,El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure,Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce,The Phoenix at Knoebels,Tennessee Tornado at Dollywood,Steel:n,Bizarro at Six Flags New England,Dragons Challenge at Islands of Adventure,Millennium Force at Cedar Point,Diamondback at Kings Island,Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia,nAnd then, if were talking rides that are just really cool but not necessarily the best, I would add these:n,Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure and Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point (basically the same thing),Grizzly River Rapids at Disneys California Adventure,Maverick at Cedar Point,The New Texas Giant at Six Flags Over Texas,Hades at Mt.

Olympus,Men in Black at Universal Studios Florida,Matterhorn at Disneyland (first ever tubular steel track roller coaster),Toy Story Midway Mania DL and WDW (awesome interactive game format),Kilamanjaro Safaris at WDW,Powder Keg at Silver Dollar City,nMind you this is not a definitive or ranked list, just rides that consistently come up in conversations regarding this topic.
