What is the secret of a pyramid?

How many sides do the Great Pyramids have

These are some facts about the Great Pyramid:- ,,1.

The pyramid is estimated to have around 2,300,000 stone blocks that weigh from 2 to 30 tons each and there are even some blocks that weigh over 50 tons.

n2.

The Pyramid of Menkaure, the Pyramid of Khafre and the Great Pyramid of Khufu are precisely aligned with the Constellation of Orion.

n3.

The base of the pyramid covers 55,000 m2 (592,000 ft 2) with each side greater than 20,000 m2 (218,000 ft2) in area.

n4.

The interior temperature is constant and equals the average temperature of the earth, 20 Degrees Celsius (68 Degrees Fahrenheit).

n5.

The outer mantle was composed of 144,000 casing stones, all of them highly polished and flat to an accuracy of 1/100th of an inch, about 100 inches thick and weighing approx.

15 tons each.

n6.

The cornerstone foundations of the pyramid have ball and socket1 construction capable of dealing with heat expansion and earthquakes.

n7.

The mortar used is of an unknown origin (Yes, no explanation given).

It has been analyzed and its chemical composition is known but it canu2019t be reproduced.

It is stronger than the stone and still holding up today.

n8.

It was originally covered with casing stones (made of highly polished limestone).

These casing stones reflected the sunu2019s light and made the pyramid shine like a jewel.

They are no longer present being used by Arabs to build mosques after an earthquake in the 14th century loosened many of them.

It has been calculated that the original pyramid with its casing stones would act like gigantic mirrors and reflect light so powerful that it would be visible from the moon as a shining star on earth.

Appropriately, the ancient Egyptians called the Great Pyramid u201cIkhetu201d, meaning the u201cGlorious Lightu201d.

How these blocks were transported and assembled into the pyramid is still a mystery.

n9.

Aligned True North: The Great Pyramid is the most accurately aligned structure in existence and faces true north with only 3/60th of a degree of error.

The position of the North Pole moves over time and the pyramid was exactly aligned at one time.

n10.

Center of Land Mass: The Great Pyramid is located at the center of1 the land mass of the earth.

The east/west parallel that crosses the most land and the north/south meridian that crosses the most land intersect in two places on the earth, one in the ocean and the other at the Great Pyramid.

n11.

The four faces of the pyramid are slightly concave, the only pyramid to have been built this way.

n12.

The centers of the four sides are indented with an extraordinary degree of precision forming the only 8 sided pyramid, this effect is not visible from the ground or from a distance but only from the air, and then only under the proper lighting conditions.

This phenomenon is only detectable from the air at dawn and sunset on the spring and autumn equinoxes, when the sun casts shadows on the pyramid.

n13.

The granite coffer in the u201cKingu2019s Chamberu201d is too big to fit through the passages and so it must have been put in place during construction.

n14.

The coffer was made out of a block of solid granite.

This would have required bronze saws 8-9 ft.

long set with teeth of sapphires.

Hollowing out of the interior would require tubular drills of the same material applied with a tremendous vertical force.

n15.

Microscopic analysis of the coffer reveals that it was made with a fixed point drill that used hard jewel bits and a drilling force of 2 tons.

n16.

The Great Pyramid had a swivel door entrance at one time.

Swivel doors were found in only two other pyramids: Khufuu2019s father and grandfather, Sneferu and Huni, respectively.

n17.

It is reported that when the pyramid was first broken into that the swivel door, weighing some 20 tons, was so well balanced that it could be opened by pushing out from the inside with only minimal force, but when closed, was so perfect a fit that it could scarcely be detected and there was not enough crack or crevice around the edges to gain a grasp from the outside.

n18.

With the mantle in place, the Great Pyramid could be seen from the mountains in Israel and probably the moon as well.

n19.

The weight of the pyramid is estimated at 5,955,000 tons.

Multiplied by 10^8 gives a reasonable estimate of the earthu2019s mass.

n20.

The Descending Passage pointed to the pole star Alpha Draconis, circa 2170-2144 BCE.

This was the North Star at that point in time.

No other star has aligned with the passage since then.

n21.

The southern shaft in the Kingu2019s Chamber pointed to the star Al Nitak (Zeta Orionis) in the constellation Orion, circa 2450 BCE The Orion constellation was associated with the Egyptian god Osiris.

No other star aligned with this shaft during that time in history.

n22.

Sunu2019s Radius: Twice the perimeter of the bottom of the granite coffer times 10^8 is the sunu2019s mean radius.

[270.

45378502 Pyramid Inches* 10^8 = 427,316 miles]n23.

The curvature designed into the faces of the pyramid exactly matches the radius of the earth.

n24.

Khufuu2019s pyramid, known as the great pyramid of Giza, is the oldest and largest, rising at 481 feet (146 meters).

Archaeologists say it was the tallest structure in the world for about 3, 800 years.

n25.

The relationship between Pi (p) and Phi (F) is expressed in the fundamental proportions of the Great Pyramid.

Aerial view of Pyramids

Why was the Sphinx mostly covered with sand, while the nearby Pyramids of Giza were not? Here is an aerial view of the Great Sphinxu2026,Notice that the statue lies within an excavated pit.

,The Sphinxu2019s head was carved from a natural outcrop of stone.

But, to make the rest of the body, the sculptors had to dig into the bedrock.

This makes the Sphinx sit lower than the surrounding surface.

,Here it is from the sideu2026,Here, you can see just how high the back of the Sphinx is compared to the outside of the excavated pit.

It doesnu2019t sit much higher.

,Untended, the pit would have filled in with sand, plus a bit more over time.

This is why the Sphinx was covered over in antiquity.

Paragraph about the Great Pyramid of Giza

I have collected and read the books about the Giza Pyramids especially the Great Pyramid and it seems to be the single most impressive building ever built by Humankind.

The Great Pyramid was constructed over a period of about one hundred years from about 2650 BC to about 2550 BC.

Many authorities give the construction period as 20 years which requires a 2.

2 ton block of stone to be put into place every 2 minutes for 20 years.

They expect us to believe this even though it is impossible for a construction firm today to do that.

One hundred years is about the minimum amount of time required to build the Great Pyramid.

It could have taken longer.

nMany authorities cite the reason for the Great Pyramids building is as a tomb for Khufu, Cheops the present Pharaoh and the 20 year period the required short period of time of 20 years.

The building of the Great Pyramid might have coincided with the reign of Cheops but as his tomb is combined with many other reasons that are related to the entire oral history and pre-history of Humanity; all their experiences; all their knowledge about the night sky; all their knowledge about the Earth that was gained slowly for untold thousands of years prior to the building of the Great Pyramid.

nThe Great Pyramid is presented as the utmost important example of Egyptian Old Kingdom civilization and the emphasis is always on the word Old as though the Old Kingdom and its Great Pyramid was the beginning of something, the beginning of Egyptian Civilization.

nThe Great Pyramid instead of being the beginning is really the summing up in one building everything that could possibly be put into this building of tens of thousands of years of mankinds experience living on the Earth; everything they learned about the Earths structure, its circumference, its continents, its landmasses, its radius, the precession of the North Star and the geographic North Pole, a 26,000 year cycle, the distance from the Earth to the Moon, the Earth-Sun distance.

The Great Pyramid is like an Encyclopedia in stone of knowledge that had been accumulated orally for tens of thousands of years so the Great Pyramid is not the beginning of something, it is the grand summing up of thousands of years of Humanities experiences and gained knowledge.

The Great Pyramid is like the Egyptians Bible In Stone.

The Old Kingdom Egyptians did not write an Encyclopedia in words; they did not write their Bible in words; they constructed their Encyclopedia, their Bible as the Great Pyramid.

,The reign of Cheops happened to be the time when all the elements required for this achievement came together and made it possible for the Old Kingdom Egyptians with the full authority of the civilized government behind them to create the Nobel Prize in a single building encompassing within its disciplines everything Mankind had learned over their civilized, Neolithic, Mesolithic, Paleolithic existence on the Earth since they had been a species on Earth, Homo Sapiens Sapiens created, evolved in Africa, 240,000 years before.

,A short few paragraphs is impossible to explain all the almost miraculous aspects of the Great Pyramid but to mention a few is to introduce the awesomeness of the Great Pyramid.

1.

Each side of the Great Pyramid is extremely slightly concave so as to allow the entire Earth with its curvature to fit exactly together with it.

The entire Earths radius fits as snuggly into each side of the Great Pyramid as Crown and Flint Glass fit together to create a modern Achromatic Telescope with magnificent precision.

n 2.

Each missing superbly polished casing stone which covered the entire Pyramid with a glassy mirror like surface was fitted into one another with the precision of modern optical work only on a scale of acres.

A destructive earthquake loosened these stones about 1,300 AD and sent many of them to the bottom of the Pyramid so the Muslims carted the stones away and built Mosques with them.

n 3.

The Great Pyramid sits at the exact center of all the land of the Earth to the North and South of it; it sits at the exact average elevation of all the continents above Sea Level over all the Earth.

The Great Pyramid sits at the exact center of all the land to the West and East of it starting with the International Dateline in the middle of the Pacific Ocean which didnt begin to be established until after Magellan discovered the Pacific Ocean in the 16th Century over 4,000 years after the Great Pyramid was built thus the Great Pyramid partakes of Biblical Like Scientific and Technological Prophecy.

Pyramids of Egypt

Iu2019m pretty sure you never saw the pyramids in real before.

Here are some pictures that may give you a better picture of the pyramids in Giza.

,Now try to imagine a way to destroy this 5.

9 million tons monster!!,And thatu2019s just the biggest Pyramid.

there are still 2 huge ones beside this one.

Plus other smaller ones around Egypt.

,,Clarification:I didnu2019t say that Muslims would want to destroy it in the first place.

Iu2019m just saying that even if they wanted to, the probably wont because it so damn hard.

,Iu2019m not a geologist, archaeologist or historian.

Iu2019m just an Egyptian guy and I saw the pyramids so many time.

Each time I see the pyramids it get me crazy thinking how it was built and what it would take to destroy it!,I might be wrong!

How close is the Nile to the pyramids

Pyramids were not built 5,000 years ago.

I quote u2026,u201cAll three of Gizas famed pyramids and their elaborate burial complexes were built during na frenetic period of construction, from roughly 2550 to 2490 B.
